What this site measures

This site sends limited activity events to Microsoft Azure Application Insights: pages viewed, résumé-download link clicks, LinkedIn link clicks, and scroll milestones. Events include the public page path, a broad referral category, a broad screen-size category, and the event time. A download click does not confirm that a file was saved or read.

What is not collected

The analytics code does not use cookies, local storage, session storage, fingerprinting, visitor IDs, or session IDs. It does not send query strings, URL fragments, full referring URLs, names, email addresses, form contents, or precise location. It cannot identify returning visitors or link your activity across pages.

Azure receives the network information needed to accept a request. Events explicitly supply an IP address of 0.0.0.0, and Azure IP masking remains enabled. The analytics code does not record your actual IP address or send your browser user-agent as an event property.

Your choices and retention

Analytics respects Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. You can enable either signal in a supporting browser to stop these events. Analytics event data is configured for 30-day retention and is viewed privately through Azure. Browser blocking, bots, and failed network requests can affect counts.
